 | Comments:
 | This cue is my "Shaft/Ferrule/Tip Platform".
Kenny and I use this cue to test different 3/8"x11 shaft/ferrule/tip
combinations. Kenny initially made this for me so I could try out
longer shafts and different tapers without increasing the overall
length of the cue (maintaining around a 58" "standard length"). Over
the last couple of years or so I have been evolving my style toward longer
cues, but that is another story :-) |
 | As a side note, this is Kenny's very first
production cue...at least I THINK I paid him for it :-), and I'm
very proud to own it....This is definitely one of my favorites, sort
of like a comfortable pair of jeans...not real "flashy", just
comfortable! |
 | BTW...check out the cool Joint Protectors (a
Kenny Murrell "trademark"). Everything lines up and that's just the
kind of craftsman he is...the devil may be in the details, but
that's what separates the guys who pump out hundreds of cues to
maximize their profit vs. craftsman who love the sport and take
pride in what they make (IMHO). |
