bulletSpecifications:
bulletYear Built: approx. 2000
bulletForearm: Long Forearm/Handle made of Beech and Birch which are dyed to produce the unusual colors  that are seen in the pictures. These woods are then laminated using phenolic resin as both the bonding and impregnating agent. -- The shape of the Forearm is also quite unique to Bob Renis with the middle of the Forearm "necked-down" such that it looks quite "flimsy", but I assure you that it IS NOT! -- Very Unusual Cue!
bulletButt Sleeve: see above
bulletRing Work:
bulletA Single Thick Black Linen Ring (actually part of the Joint) at Location B
bulletA Single Thick Brass Ring at Locations A and B
bulletHandle: see above - The Handle area is "carved" and has the feel of ""finger grooves" -- see the detailed picture of the Handle
bulletButt Cap: None (see above)
bulletButt Length (w/o bumper): 28.875"
bulletButt Weight: 16.5 oz.
bulletJoint Type: 3/8"x18 Brass Pin (VERY UNUSUAL); Flat faced Joint w/White Linen Joint Collar
bulletShaft 1: Laminated Beech and Birch that are dyed (not the same colors as the butt which makes a very nice aesthetic contrast between the 2 sections)
bulletLength (w/tip): 29.1875"
bulletWeight: 4.5 oz.
bulletTaper: Standard Renis Very Long Pro-Taper (in spite of the very long Pro-Taper on this shaft, it is quite stiff)
bulletFerrule: 11 mm, 1.0625" long - 2 different Linen Fiber pieces (Longer Black Linen Ferrule with a Short White Linen piece next to the Shoulder of the Shaft-- i.e. bottom of the Tenon)
bulletTip: LePro - dime radius
bulletOverall Weight: (w/shaft 1: 21 oz.)
bulletOverall Length (w/o bumper): (w/shaft 1: 58.0625")
bulletBalance Point From the Tip: (w/shaft 1: 39.125")
bulletBalance Point From End of Butt Cap: (w/shaft 1: 18.9375")
bulletCondition:
bulletThis cue is in beautiful condition and looks virtually un-played.
bulletComments:
bulletThis cue is more geared toward Carom games, although I have shot a couple of interesting games of pool with it :-)
bulletThe Balance of this cue is remarkable and is achieved mostly by the shape of the Forearm section (the "necking-down" of this very heavy wood makes this cue balance like it was cored, or had a Maple Forearm).
bulletThe Shaft on this cue is really incredible...it has the longest Pro-Taper I have ever seen and yet it is not "whippy" at all (IMHO).
bulletThis cue is not only unusual and "delicate" looking (which I assure you is only the way it APPEARS....this thing is built TOUGH!), but it hits like a FREIGHT TRAIN! If you are looking for something DIFFERENT, this is IT!
bulletAvailability:
bulletCurrently for Sale @ $350.00 USD -- SOLD
